Our Practice
Richmond Spine Interventions and Pain Center was founded in 2001 and has been faithfully serving patients in the Greater Richmond Area over the past two decades. Our practice specializes in guided spinal injections and other treatments for a variety of painful conditions. In many cases, we can offer patients a non-opioid solution to treat their pain.
Peyman Nazmi, MD
Dr. Peyman Nazmi is Board Certified in Pain Management and Anesthesiology. He completed his residency and fellowship training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center of New York in 1997. He is a graduate of the Medical University of Pecs in Hungary. He is a member of the Spine Intervention Society and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
Marc Caligtan, MD
Dr. Marc Caligtan received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He went on to gain both his Masters of Science in Physiology and Medical Degree at VCU Medical Center's Medical College of Virginia. He completed his Internship at Johns Hopkins University in the Sinai Department of Internal Medicine and his Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Caligtan enjoys spending time with his children and wife. His hobbies include traveling, cooking, and playing basketball. He is also an avid fan of UVA athletics and NFL football.
Zoraida Arboleda, FNP-C
Zoraida Arboleda is a Bilingual Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Magna Cum Laude. She obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus in Family from the Virginia Commonwealth University. Her internship ranged from Primary Care, Sports Medicine, Palliative Medicine and Allergy / Immunology. Prior to joining the the team of Richmond Spine, she worked full time as a Certified Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse for 9 years.
On her free time, she enjoys reading, playing the piano, hiking, bird watching and sharing with family and friends.
Sydney Plum, FNP-C
Sydney Plum is an AANP Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University and her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Alabama at Birmingham where she graduated Cum Laude. Her internship experience ranged from primary care, rheumatology, and long-term care/ rehab. Her prior experience is in pediatric cardiac intensive care and pediatric intensive care.
She enjoys lifting at the gym, being outside with her dog, and trying new restaurants with friends in her free time.
Michele Hodges, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C
Michele Hodges is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with experience in adult and gerontology primary care/internal medicine. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Adult/Gerontology Primary Care from the University of South Florida, where she graduated with honors in 2018. Ms. Hodges, has experience managing acute and chronic medical needs for adult and geriatric populations, emphasizing a patient-centered approach to care. She is passionate about delivering compassionate and comprehensive care to her patients, with a focus on prevention and education. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
In her free time, Ms. Hodges likes spending time with family, friends, her dog, and the outdoors.
Jack Campbell-Chen, FNP-C
Jack Campbell-Chen is an AANP Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Longwood University and his Master of Science in Nursing from James Madison University where he graduated Cum Laude. His clinical internships included primary care, pediatrics, women’s health, and urgent care. His prior experience is in surgical and trauma intermediate care, as well as cardiac and respiratory intermediate care.
Jack enjoys spending time with family, as well as exploring all of the various food establishments within the Richmond area in his free time.
Kelly Hong, PA
Kelly Hong is a Certified Physician Assistant originally from Michigan. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biomolecular Science at the University of Michigan followed by her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Charleston. She has had clinical rotations in a variety of specialties including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and more. Kelly worked in Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT) as a Physician Assistant prior to joining Richmond Spine. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care for her patients.
In her free time, Kelly enjoys rock climbing, hiking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
